EXW sits between the people who make handbags and the people who sell them. We started on the sourcing side, spent years watching good orders go wrong for administrative reasons, and eventually built the software we wished existed.
Why we exist
The order was never the hard part.
Finding a factory is a solvable problem. Knowing what that factory is doing, six weeks in, from four thousand kilometres away, is the one that actually costs you money.
Our name is an incoterm. Ex Works is the point where responsibility passes from the factory to the buyer — the moment when, traditionally, visibility disappears. We named the company after it because that gap is the thing we set out to close.
In practice that means two jobs at once. We do the sourcing work: matching programmes to suppliers who can genuinely build them, negotiating against a costed bill of materials, running sampling and quality control, and getting goods on a vessel with documents that hold up.
And we run the software that both sides work in — the supplier portal the factory updates, the order and shipment records the customer reads, the delivery notes and carton data that let a warehouse receive goods without a phone call. One record, two parties, no reconciliation meeting.
Sourcing is a relationship business running on infrastructure nobody bothered to build. So we built it.

Say the real price
Costings are built line by line and shown to you that way. If a target cost is not achievable at your quality, you hear it in the first week rather than at the sealed sample.
Fewer factories, known better
A shortlist of suppliers we audit and revisit beats a directory of thousands we have never met. Depth of relationship is what gets your order prioritised when a line is full.
Write it down, once
Every quantity, date and specification lives in one record that both sides update. Most supply-chain failures are not dramatic — they are a number that got re-typed wrong.
Suppliers are users too
Software that only serves the buyer gets ignored by the factory, and then the data rots. The portal has to be worth the supplier's time or none of this works.
Own the boring parts
Delivery notes, carton labels, certificates of origin. Unglamorous, and precisely where money is lost when they are handled casually.
Be replaceable, be kept
Your data is yours, exportable over the API at any time. We would rather earn the next order than lock you into the last one.
